Distilling the foodie lexicon
Collaborating with Scott Tusk, I played a pivotal role in designing an extensive set of over 50 icons for a novel feature tailored for business owners. This feature aimed to empower them to broadcast specific aspects of their enterprises, such as outdoor seating availability or family-owned status. Crafting these icons involved a meticulous process to encapsulate the diverse range of specialties and unique characteristics of each business, contributing to a visual language that effectively communicated the distinct features offered by these establishments.

There was never a dull moment with Yelp’s never ending whimsical requests from stakeholders. It was always a pleasure to come up interpretations for new categories.
